Description
This hands-on course will introduce you to materials and techniques used for Glass Fusing and in particular coaster making and hanging ornaments. You will explore basic glass cutting; creating images and patterns and using specialist glass such as sheet glass, stringers and frit.
• Produce effective coaster designs.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Glass pattern and design.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the practice and methods used in Glass fusing and design.
• Demonstrate technical skills in glass cutting and arrangement.
• Use materials and equipment safely and effectively.
Your pieces will be kiln fired and you will be notified when they are ready for collection - usually 7 to 10 days after the session. Collection will be from the Broadstairs Adult Education Center
