Unique gravity formed decorative vessel measuring approx 14.5cm x 8.5cm The design is made by layering and decorating sheet glass and combining glasses that have 'reactive' qualities when kiln fired. The final shape is achieved by heating the glass so it 'drops' through the centre of a ceramic ring mould. The excess glass on the rim of the vessel is then removed, and the edge of the piece is ground and polished. The final vessel can be used as a small vase, but is beautiful as it is.
